Trevor Williams, cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, visited our Westport Homes Club on March 12, and surprised three families with a week of healthy, fresh meals.
Williams took a tour of the Club and spent some time talking with our members about the importance of taking their academics seriously and having the determination to accomplish anything they set their minds to. He signed autographs and posed for pictures before participating in the day’s restorative circle session. The icebreaker was: would you rather spend the day at an amusement park or at the beach? Trevor sided with the majority of our Club members and chose the beach. “It’s relaxing and everyone loves the beach,” he justified.
Three families received a week’s worth of pre-prepped meals through his Trevor Williams Foundation and in partnership with Healthy Fresh Meals. These frozen, prepared meals will make it easy for families to ensure a nutritional meal with a simple reheat.
Before joining the NFL in 2016, Williams played football at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson and then at Penn State.
