Fifteen enthusiastic members of our Boys & Girls Club at Leonards Lane were among the first 175 youth to participate in a new flag football league in Cambridge.
On April 27th, around 300 community members gathered to mark the beginning of a program that promises not only physical activity but also stronger community bonds.
RISE Flag Football is a collaborative effort led by the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, Under Armour, the Cambridge Police Department, and local non-profits All4Love and Boys & Girls Club at Leonards Lane. This initiative is designed for children from kindergarten through 8th grade, offering them a fun and active way to spend their Saturdays.
